Liverpool's Star Issues Apology to Teammates, Discloses Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has revealed that the Egyptian forward said sorry to the group of players following the uproar from his televised remarks.

Salah was left out from a key Champions League match following criticising the club and claiming his relationship with manager had deteriorated.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, please accept my apology.’”
The head coach has previously declined to comment publicly on whether he received a personal apology from the veteran striker.
Looking Ahead
Jones insisted that the dressing room atmosphere was unchanged. “He was his usual self, he was smiling and it was business as usual,” Jones added.
The midfielder also noted that a teammate fighting for a place is less of an issue. “It's clear there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just sit out, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
On-Field Response
The team's performance have stayed unbeaten in the games following the interview fallout. Jones believes the outburst were not intended to destabilise the squad.
“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a good place,” Jones concluded. “It's behind us and we’re gelling well as a team, performing and on a positive run.”
